-Must be qualified to write user interfaces and mainframe programs
-Must know AMX and Crestron (Certification a plus!)
Audio Engineering background a plus!
Essential Job Functions:
-Program control systems for devices used primarily in the Home Automation\AudioVisual industry.
-Delivery and management of assigned programming services, project related tasks (control system documentation, other project resources, etc) and reporting to project Manager on situational status
-Review of contracted control system documentation, system hardware configuration, development and unit testing of all Home Automation programs and touch panel interfaces
-Weekly input of time records by project and project reporting to lead Project Manager
-Required to work both independently and collaboratively with other departments that contribute to project outcomes
Skill Requirements:
-Bachelors in Computer Science or a four-year degree in programming or related field is desired.
-Experience in computer programming (C/C++, Visual C, HTML and SQL). Netlinx, Axcess and Touch Panel Design experience a plus.
-Experience in Boardroom, Whole Home and Home Theater control concepts.
-Ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks or project simultaneously.
-Ability to review, decipher and understand AV/HVAC system drawings.
-Qualified candidate must have proven oral presentation and customer interaction skills.
-Ability to travel and Flexible work schedule.
